Using AdsCove in n8n

AdsCove Product & Engineering · Last reviewed August 5, 2026

Via REST

n8n connects through our REST API (or its MCP Client node). Use an HTTP Request node against /api/v1/tools/{tool_name} to build scheduled workflows — e.g. push a daily business report to Slack/email/Feishu.

Connection details

Everything the connection needs, in one place — copy any line into your client or your agent:

Endpoint (MCP):  https://adscove.com/api/mcp
Transport:       Streamable HTTP
Auth (recommended): OAuth 2.1 (no key needed)
Auth (fallback): HTTP header Authorization: Bearer sk_live_your_key (only if OAuth is unavailable)
REST fallback: POST https://adscove.com/api/v1/tools/{tool_name} with the same Bearer header
Full catalog: https://adscove.com/api/mcp?tools=full (optional; default endpoint is faster and includes run_adscove_tool)
Verify tool:     list_connections   (free, read-only)

Setup steps

  1. Generate an API key
  2. Add an HTTP Request node: POST, the URL below, header Authorization: Bearer sk_live_your_key
  3. Chain nodes to route the JSON result (Slack, email, Sheets, Feishu, etc.)
POST https://adscove.com/api/v1/tools/{tool_name}
Authorization: Bearer sk_live_your_key
Content-Type: application/json

{ "date_range": "last_7d" }

Note

Write tools return pending_approval by default. Keep automated workflows to
read-only tools, or approve writes in the AdsCove console.

Or: hand it to your AI agent

Don't want to configure it yourself? Paste the block below into the AI agent you're using — it contains everything needed to set up the connection. Replace sk_live_MY_KEY with the fallback key you generated.

Build an n8n workflow: an HTTP Request node (POST) to https://adscove.com/api/v1/tools/get_daily_business_report with header Authorization: Bearer sk_live_MY_KEY and JSON body {"date_range":"last_7d"}, then a node that posts the result to my channel.

Verify

Execute the node — it returns the report JSON.

What you can do once connected

Check the business report, compare platform ROAS against real Shopify orders, create paused ad drafts, and submit budget changes. Direct writes need confirmation; separately enabled guardrails can only auto-pause within your limits. Try: “Which ads lost money in the last 7 days?”
