Using AdsCove in Claude (Web / Desktop / Mobile)

Claude custom Connectors use OAuth — no config file, API key, or terminal. Add AdsCove once on Claude web or Desktop, then use the connected tools from the web, Desktop, iOS, or Android app.
Claude mobile can use an AdsCove connector after it has been added through Claude web or Desktop. Claude currently does not let users add a new custom connector directly from the mobile app.

Setup steps
- Open Claude → Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector
- Paste https://adscove.com/api/mcp and confirm
- You are redirected to the AdsCove authorization page → sign in → click Authorize
- On iOS or Android, open a chat and enable AdsCove from Search and tools

In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste https://adscove.com/api/mcp, and complete the OAuth sign-in. Then call list_connections to confirm.

Claude connector setup, supported platforms & troubleshooting
Where is Settings → Connectors in Claude?
On Claude web or Claude Desktop, open Settings and choose Connectors, then Add custom connector. Paste https://adscove.com/api/mcp. The mobile app can use AdsCove after it is added, but it cannot add a new custom connector itself.
The OAuth window closed but AdsCove does not show as connected. What now?
Sign in to AdsCove in the same browser first, allow the pop-up or redirect, then retry the connector's Connect action. If it still fails, remove the AdsCove connector and add it again with the exact URL https://adscove.com/api/mcp.
The connector is added but Claude does not use the AdsCove tools.
Turn AdsCove on for the chat from the tools menu (Search and tools), then ask Claude to check your platform connection status. That calls list_connections, which is free and read-only.
I'm in a Claude Team or Enterprise workspace and can't add connectors.
Some workspaces only let owners or admins add custom connectors. Ask your workspace owner to add https://adscove.com/api/mcp, then each person completes their own AdsCove OAuth sign-in.
Is this the same as connecting Claude Code?
No. Claude Code runs in your terminal and uses claude mcp add instead of Settings → Connectors. See the Claude Code setup guide at /clients/claude-code.
Which ad platforms can I connect to Claude through AdsCove?
Meta Ads, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads, plus Shopify or WooCommerce store data and read-only Google Search Console. Add the AdsCove connector once, then connect each account in AdsCove → Connections; Claude sees every connected account through the same connector.
Can I connect Google Merchant Center to Claude?
Yes, through Google Ads. AdsCove discovers the Merchant Center accounts linked to your connected Google Ads customer, so Claude can read Shopping and Performance Max product performance by item. There is no separate Merchant Center login, and AdsCove does not edit your product feed.
Can I connect Taboola, X Ads, Adalyser, or Similarweb to Claude with AdsCove?
Not today. AdsCove connectors cover Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Shopify, WooCommerce, and Search Console. For other ad networks or traffic-analytics tools, use that vendor's own connector, MCP server, or API; Claude can keep several connectors enabled side by side.
Can Claude change my ads once connected?
Reads run directly. Writes such as budget or status changes come back as pending actions that you approve or reject, so nothing is published silently.
What you can do once connected
Check the business report, compare platform ROAS against real Shopify orders, create paused ad drafts, and submit budget changes. Direct writes need confirmation; separately enabled guardrails can only auto-pause within your limits. Try: “Which ads lost money in the last 7 days?”
Get started
