Using AdsCove in Doubao (Desktop)
AdsCove Product & Engineering · Last reviewed August 5, 2026
Available · OAuth · Desktop
Doubao Desktop can connect directly to AdsCove as a custom MCP connector. Enter the connector name and server URL, then complete OAuth in the browser — no API key or developer bridge is needed.
Create the connector from the latest Doubao desktop app. Leave Custom Headers empty so Doubao can start the AdsCove OAuth flow.
Download Doubao Desktop →Connection details
Everything the connection needs, in one place — copy any line into your client or your agent:
MCP URL: https://adscove.com/api/mcp Authentication: OAuth 2.1 (no API key) Client setup: Automatic (Dynamic Client Registration) Verify tool: list_connections
Setup steps
- Download or open the latest Doubao desktop app
- Open Skills · Connectors · Partners, then choose New → New custom connector
- Set the name to AdsCove, choose HTTP, and enter the MCP server URL below
- Leave Custom Headers empty, save, then complete AdsCove OAuth in the browser
Connector name: AdsCove Transport: HTTP Server URL: https://adscove.com/api/mcp Custom Headers: Leave blank
Or: hand it to your AI agent
Don't want to configure it yourself? Paste the block below into the AI agent you're using (Claude, Cursor, an MCP agent, etc.) — it contains everything needed to set up the connection.
In Doubao Desktop, open Skills · Connectors · Partners → New → New custom connector. Name it AdsCove, choose HTTP, use https://adscove.com/api/mcp, leave Custom Headers empty, save, and complete OAuth. Then call list_connections to confirm.
Verify
In Doubao, ask: "check my platform connection status" — it should call list_connections.
What you can do once connected
Check the business report, compare platform ROAS against real Shopify orders, create paused ad drafts, and submit budget changes. Direct writes need confirmation; separately enabled guardrails can only auto-pause within your limits. Try: “Which ads lost money in the last 7 days?”
